  • Tell someone. Especially if you are being physically hurt and do not feel safe.
  • Document the abuse. Save texts, notes, voicemails that are abusive or threatening.
  • Break up in public. Consider doing this and not in a private place, or if you feel unsafe, a phone call or text.
  • Tell friends and family so they can support you.
  • Create a safety plan.
